Up for offer is a set-up of an animation celfrom WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT of Disney’s DUMBO.

Set over a photo backgroundscene, Dumbo measures approximately 5.5 inches across and 6 inches high, a bigimage. The cel features the brown Xerox linework with paint that is bright andstrong, beautiful blue eyes.

DUMBO cel is trimmed down to an outline around thefigure, you can see this against a cardboard background in one of ourphotos. There is a clear piece of acetate provided over top of the cut cel. Forframing, we have found that often placing a cut cel between this over sheet andthe photo background creates enough static to hold the cel in place. This maywork for you, and you may wish to try this before attempting to attach the celitself to the background.

Its possible that this may be a test cel or a modelcel. We don’t screen match this figure pose exactly to the scene in the film.But the cel set-up does come with the DISNEY certificate of authenticity whichsays it was used in the production. In any case it is a spectacular cel imageof one of Disney’s most endearing charmers!
