Offered is a nice original art by ZACK MOSLEY for SMILIN\' JACK Daily newspaper comic strip from January 12, 1961. This aviation adventure strip was syndicated by News Syndicate Co. Inc. This original is signed \"ZACK MOSLEY\" by the artist in the first panel. In this episode Jolly is surprised to see Sulky taking skydiving lessons. ZACK MOSLEY was one of the several cartoonists at The Chicago Tribune Syndicate that drew in what I like to call the \"Chester Gould / Harold Gray School of Adventure Strip Cartooning.\"
The art image area of this piece measures approximately 19-3/4\" x 6\" and was drawn with black ink on bristol board. This over 50 years old art is in excellent condition. The benday shading glue has yellowed due to age.
