Nice original cast iron Darktown Battery baseball mechanical bank cir. 1888 made by J & E Stevens.To operate , place a coin into the pitchers glove and cock back the arm.Press the lever behind the catcher and the coin is pitched into the bank.At the same time , the batter lifts up his arms and bat , his head moves and the catchers head and hand move.Lots of action on this great black americana bank. Has nice original paint and no cracks or damage to the cast iron.
