Original, just post-war, printed in Germany.
Pasted down to the back of the front cover is President Harry Truman\'s Thank you letter to Stanford J. Wilson, a 506th Medic listed on the Medical DetachmentRoster for the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division. A recent copy of that roster is included but not pictured.
This copy is in poor to fair condition, but please don\'t let that scare you too much. It is a beautiful copy that actually belonged and is attributed to one who later became known as the \"band of brothers\"
It is complete and includes all of the original \"onion skin\" maps. The ribbons shown have held this together for the last half-century or so. They are not recent additions. You can see water damage in the photos with some paper loss here and there. No content is affected though.
