Original 1865 Jefferson Davis \"The Last Ditch\" broadside - by printer A.W. Auner. Upon hearing the news ofhis capture, many Northern printers published caricature handbill-sized broadsides of Davis - this was atypical one, showing him dressed in a petticoat in the ditch as a black soldier looks on. There is a copy of thisexact broadside in the Lincoln collection at the Lilly Library in Indiana.

Very good+ condition - some very light spots of discoloration, a small nick on the left center margin and acouple of light folds on bottom left corner. Small old price note marked in pencil on back. Printed on thin ragpaper.
