Up for sale is for an Original Civil War Ambrotype of a Soldier. The ID on this picture is Private Daniel Bales Co. B 13th Regt. Ohio Infantry. This is the ID I purchased it with. However the only provenance I have is a modern written name on a sheet of paper that was behind the photo. The picture itself is stunning condition, original gold gilt, no damage I can see whatsoever. The case is the desirable fireman’s case with only a tiny bit of edge damage on the two opening bottom corners. The soldier is armed with what appears to be a M1842 musket. A stunning image!
