Offered, is an original 1940s, WWII era, cardboard advertising sign forOld Gold Cigarettes. This is a large, bright colorsign, that measures 44\" x 32\". It features a WWIIArmy service man, who just got his Corporal stripe, as pointed out by the young lady; with the caption, \"Something New Has Been Added\". Old Gold wasmeaning theTobacco imported from the Eastern Mediterranean, as stated on the bottom of the sign.
The sign is in good used condition, with edge and corner wear, some tears, scratching, and soiling. There is a little paper loss at some of the corners. This is a great, rare and original WWII era piece, and an authentic piece of Americana! Please see pictures for exact condition. What you see, is what you get.
