You are offerding on the original Life Boat Alarm Bell that was pulled from aRussian Merchant Marine Vessel while it was being scrapped at the Alang India ship breaking yards. The item measures about 11 inches tall and about5 inches wide. These bells were powered by 24 volts. I have not tested the function because I do not have a 24 volt power supply. Good condition for its age with some minor surface wear.
