Original Medieval Iconographic Bezel Gold Finger Ring c. 15th - 16th century A.D:
$801.55

This is a wonderful medieval gold finger ring, dating to the 15th - early 16th century AD. Originally the bezel would have been set with enamel, so too the shoulders. The bezel is cut in a similar fashion to iconographic rings of the period, yet the device is somewhat unusual. It appears to represent a flower or some other heraldic device. Originally I thought it may represent a bleeding wound as one can find on other iconographic rings of an earlier date. It is an interesting and significant early ring, that would certainlybenefitfrom further research.
