This strip is hand drawn and inked by Mr. Kelly, featuring the Pogo Possum and Churchy LaFlemme.Note the extra use of blue pencil notes, by Kelly, in the upper and lower margins. I\'ve enlarged one of them (in photo #6). I believe that sometimes Kelly used blue pencil as notes to himself for any number of reasons, but as often as not they were to indicate the proper spelling (or requested improper spelling) of the final balloon text.

Thestrip is in good shape with an even, minor off-white coloring fromage. It has the normal few pin holes, right at the top center border, used byKelly to hold in place while inking. It\'s been folded by Kelly when shipped to the syndicate, which can hardly be seen under glass.

The artwork itself is hand brushed black ink over blue pencil. Signed \"Walt Kelly\".
