Tenzing had copies of the photos made and would sign them for touristsat laterdates. My grandparents met him in Darjeeling in the mid-late 50\'s or early 60\'s where he would sell autographs (although mygrandmother does not remember paying him, she has passed away so I am unable to pin down when they were there). My grandparents lived in India from 1953-1959, so most likely this trip was during that time. She met him, said he was a happy man and that he was surrounded by dogs. He bred Lhaso Apso dogs.

This picture shows him with two of his dogs.

The photo is approx. 5.5\" x 3.5\"

and is in good condition

the ink is black (when you move the photo you can see ever so oxidization to the ink)

it is on original photo paper,Agfa-Brovira paper
