Original vintage 1747 American/English Promissary Note written on handmade paper, signed, sealed and delivered. This note reads:\"I promise to pay or cause to be paid unto Christian Hearr or to his order, the just and full sum of three pounds current lawful money of Pennsylvania at or upon the first day of February next ensuing as witnessed my hand and sealed this sixteenth day of November Anno 1747. Sealed and delivered in the presence of Walter Mussland, Sebastian Mayer. Signed with his \"mark\" William Smith\". This mark is not even an \"X\" as we are sure William was totally illiterate. See wax seal lower right corner.All of our paper has been purchased from a Pennsylvania flea market and/or old vintage paper works.FL112
