Two Original and Rare Campaign and Election Posters from the first election after the fall of Hitler’s Third Reich. Posters promote the Jan. 27, 1946 election and the Christian Social Union party unique to Bavaria. Acquired in Salzburg, Austria in 2008. Note the pinter’s mark at the bottom of the portrait-type poster: only 25 posters of this image were struck. These posters represent an extraordinary development for Germany and for all Europe.

Both posters In very good to excellent condition. Portrait poster measures 24\' down and 18\" across (approx.) The landscape poster is approximately 18\" down and 24\" acrossColors are vibrant and the black typeface hasn\'t faded much, if at all. The streaks you see are light streaks from the camera. Prints are currently behind frames, but will ship without frames (it\'s cheaper to buy frames than to ship already framed). Thanks for looking!
