Rare, un-restored original paper. Beautiful!

Western vintage mid-century hunting advertising lithograph poster for Western Winchester in very good, unrestored condition (B+).

Dated 1955.

Art by Weimer Pursell with his printed signature.

Original paper (not linen-backed).

Measures 26 x 40 inches.

Moderate uniform toning (this poster would benefit from a light bleach and linen backing).

Still strong colors.

Edge-wear including light creasing and some light chipping along edges and at corners.

Some light dog-ear creases at corners.

Numerous areas of light creasing within image area.

Intermittent light foxing/spotting.

Some darker smudges at top right corner area.

Possible other light stains and/or mild abrasions to image area.

Rare. This is the less common poster from the series of similar Winchster posters of this period (including one of a pheasant, one of a deer, and another of a squirrel).
