Original WW2 US Army M1 Helmet FB FS with First Pattern Hawley Liner NamedExcellent set!This set is in good original condition. Helmet shows some wear from use and age.This helmet has its original paint and cork finish. Missing some paint only at the very edge.And overall paint show some use and discoloration.Both straps are securely attached with early brass hardware.Heat stamp reads 50B. Nice and early!!Fixed bale and front seam.Interior of shell show a surface rust stain. Easily cleaned if you desire.Black paint stenciled 250 number to interior of shell.Liner is an first pattern Hawley.overall condition is good. Front rim has a crack from handling but still held together with the twill fabric.Rayon suspension is complete. Leather neck strap is present but damaged.One side is spilt and the other has a partial split.Liner also has matching stenciled number 250!These two have always been together!Liner is named and could result into a great research project!Unpainted square washers.See photos to help with description.
