Wonderful antique Rogers Smith & Company New Haven Connecticut #6 Silver Plate Double Glass Insert With Tongs Pickle Castor Set. It is 10\" high at the top of the handle and 6 3/4\" long. Glass containers are 4 1/4\" high and 3\" across. Lids are very fancy....one is a bit out of round but really only noticed when removed. Glass is brilliant, clear and undamaged. The holder has 4 human face decorated feet and fancy scroll works about. This is a top quality old set. Pickle tongs have animal or bird claws and all items have no silver loss but just some light signs of age and past use as would be considered normal. Just in from a very nice estate.
