This amazing pin is an original one from the Victorian to Art Nouveau period. It most definitely has the Art Nouveau flare. It is constructed of bronze or brass with a bezel set amethyst glass facet cut \"stone\". It is signed C & R in an oval with a pyramid shape. I have not been able to identify this maker, but it is a high quality piece. It has a very secure C clasp which holds well. The brooch measures approximately 2 5/8\" x 2 1/8\".
