Late 19th early 20th Centurywith Flowers,Birds,Foliage etc in beautiful subtle colors...One of the most lavishly embroidered shawls we have seen in a long time,it\'s simply covered with
roses,birds and various other flowers and foliage,it seems every inch of the shawl
has been embroidered with differnt birds all over.We have been advised this is late 19th early 20th Century...Beautiful item that has been hand embroidered using great skill with Flowers,Birds,Foliage etcall hand embroidered in subtle colors on to black silk background.In excellent vintage condition and wehave been advised that this is a very fine piece of Chinese embroidery.....
Healthy size,the embroidered portion of the shawl measures 48\" (120cms) squarewith an extra 18\" (45cms) on each side of fringing making a total 84\" (210cms) square..
