Estate completely hand made tablecloth was expertly created around 1950. Its heavy white linen with a design of pink dogwood blossoms and leaves and stems in gray and black. All the work is beautifully and precisely done. Even the hem is done with tiny hand stitches--see photo, above.
This is not your every day cloth--its for special occasions.
There is embroidery all around the edges and then lines of embroidery run on the diagonal across the tablecloth, creating is an attractive and unusual pattern.
This is made from heavy, strong linen and,if treated respectfully, will see many more years of service. It is fully washable.
It is 73\" long and 61\" wide.
It is freshly laundered, immaculately clean and ready to use.
