This gorgeous and very difficult to find, early antique china shoulderhead will make a wonderful presentation when attached to a cloth or cloth and leather body. Manufactured by the A. W. Fr. Kister Porcelain Factory, Germany, circa 1850s, as shown and described in detail on page 76, \"A Pictorial Reference Guide for German Chinas\"-Krombholz. Her hair is parted in the center with eleven long curls circling her head,(no wear or rubs) light pink tint, beautiful blue eyes with double lid lines, red outlined nostril and eye corner dots, beautifully shapedlipswith upturned corners(almost smiling expression) and blushed cheeks.One of her most unusual signature characteristics is her two tone (brown and black) painted eyebrows as described in the mentioned reference. She measures about 4 1/4\" tall and has very finely molded upper and lower eyelids, nose and mouth details as well as lovely sloping shoulders and is in excellent condition with no damages or repairs, no hairlines or cracks and no chips (tiny nick at one corner sew hole).
