This fine quality Anglo - Indian Raj era tankard stands 77mm (3\") high x 66mm (2.5\") across the rim and weighs an impressive 120 grams or 4 troy ounces. It is marked Orr Sterling 16 who was a Scottish silversmith clock maker who moved to India from Scotland and set up an important firm in Madras Indian and produced top quality silverware for the British Raj.
