Beautiful pair of antique (19thC) fireplace andirons and fire dogs. The pair feature ornate, French Rococo design. They are fashioned of bronze and iron. The pair are un-retouched andretain part of their gilt finish with the balance featuringa beautifully aged patina. The pair are heavy with deep dimension and fabulous detail. They feature a torch flame finialon the fire dog attachmentscrew. The iron fire dogs do have evidence of use. They have an aged/rusty finish. The pair are in good condition. The cosmetic aging has not affected any structural components and the pair can be used as intended. They are quite beautiful.

Each andiron measures 16\" tall and10\" wide. They are 21\" front to back when including the fire dog measurement.
