This is a beautiful pair of antique Anglo-Indian intricately carved teak wooden bookends,dating from the 19thc.
The bookends are from the Kashmir region and are smothered in deeply carved Paisley patterns of very high quality as well as Indian designs on the sides and base.
They are in lovely condition for their age with just two corners chipped at the bases.They are very heavy quality and measure 15.5 cms high x 12 cms wide x 8.5 cms deep.
A superb pair of antique Anglo-Indian bookends that would grace any collection.
