General Description:
A superb Pair of Antique, Victorian, English Sterling Silver Kings Pattern Basting (Stuffing or Gravy) Spoons made by Samuel Hayne & Dudley Cater, London, c1848.
They are hallmarked with the maker\'s mark \"SH.DC\" for Samuel Hayne & Dudley Cater, London, the lion Passant Sterling Silver mark, theLeopard\'s Head London town mark, the Monarchs Head (Queen Victoria) duty mark and date letter \"n\" for 1848/49.
They have an initial engraved on the handle (see photo).
Dimensions:
They measure just under 12 1/4\" inches (312mm) in length. The weight is 414.7g/14.62oz/13.33ozt
Condition:
They are in excellent condition.
