OBJECT: Available for immediate purchase here is a lovely pair of antique Turkish candlesticks decorated with very old coins fro the Ottoman Empire.

Each ornate candlestick stands approximately 3 ⅜” tall, with a base of about 1 ⅞” diameter; the apertures will fit a ½” diameter candle. Each coin is approximately ⅞” (24mm).

I believe that these coins are very old, indeed. I am not an expert in reading Arabic, but one of the more legible coins has the Sultan accession date of 1327; another has the accession date of 1293; yet another is for 1255. I’ve tried to show some of these dates in the photographs. There are 10 coins in all.

Antique condition is good — very primitive with beautiful patina! Will make a great gift for any collector of Ottoman Empire objects or coin collectors!
