PAIR EARLY MILLER BRASS EMERALITE TABLE LAMPS INDUSTRIAL MACHINE AGE 1900 FARIES
- DESIGN: A very early and rare pair of \"Miller\" Industrial Brass Articulating Shop Lamps circa 1904. The lamp arms articulate up and down from the heavily weighted base via the main support tube and offers further adjustment of the socket/shade assembly fore and aft via their knuckle joints. Completely manufactured of solid Brass throughout (aside from the cast iron weighted sub base) and very well engineered and machined. There are some very subtle design differences in the hardware between the two but these are extremely minor and hard to notice unless comparing them side by side. Patent markings are clearly evident on the matching Hubbell shade fitters of 1904, which hold matching dark Green Emeralite style glass cased domed shaped shades.
- CONDITION: This rare pair are in outstanding original condition, completely intact andfully functional. Moderate finish wear and slight tarnish patina with no damage or repair issues. Original \"P&S\" paddle sockets have been inspected and appear clean and safe, the power cords have been replaced with braided cotton wrapped insulated wire. The Emeralite style dark Green Glass cased shades are virtually perfect and free of any chips or cracks.
- DIMENSIONS: The lamps general dimensions are 23\" tall with an overall width of 12\" and the shades are 6\" in diameter…filament bulbs are NOT included.
