I was so fortunate this past weekend to purchase this pair of beautiful 1930\'s era quilts. The pattern, I believe, is Grandmother\'s Flower Garden and the workmanship is outstanding! There are 6\" to the inch...fine, even stitches. It is quilted over all and the tiny hexagonals are outlined. The materials are 1930 prints and the colors are subdued and lovely. The background reverse is the same buttermilk/cream color as shown in one of the rows pictured. I couldn\'t photograph the back of the quilts but they are beautifully overall quilted. There is one hole in the back only (doesn\'t go through to the front) about the size of a nickle. The quilts measure approx. 64\" by 96\". These would be lovely in a shabby chic setting or cottage. Hard to find a pair. I was going to separate them but thought I would try them this way first. The sale is for the pair. Please feel free to ask any questions. These were stored and there is no odor but they were on beds and you might want to freshen them up.The photos do not do this beautiful pair of quilts justice. Colors are brighter than photos show.
