THIS IS A RARE PAIR OF AMERICAN AESTHETIC MOVEMENT JAPANESE STYLE STERLING HEAVY ENGRAVED NAPKIN RINGS MADE AROUND 1880. THEY ARE UNMARKED AS TO MAKER, THEY ARE JUST MARKED STERLING, BUT I AM PRETTY SURE THESE WERE MADE BY TIFFANY. THE JAPANESE ENGRAVED OBJECTS, BIRDS AND MONOGRAMS ARE VERY TIFFANY. THE CONDITION IS EXCELLENT WITH A FANTASTIC PATINA AND NO DAMAGE OR REPAIRS. THEY HAVE A NICE WEIGHT OF 2.3 TROY OUNCES. THEY MEASURE 1 7/8\" IN DIAMETER CORNER TO CORNER X 1 1/4\" WIDE.
