Superb quality matching pair of Solid Sterling Silver Serving Spoons.
Both hallmarked for London 1809. By Alice and George Burrows II.
With George III duty stamp.
Chased / Embossed decoration with unusual face / mask design with
Cornucopia, Fruit and Flowers . Engraved decoration and Vacant cartouche on each handle.
Bowls are also gilded.
Both in an excellent condition. No wear, hardly used. Top quality fitted case.
Velvet and Silk lined.
Measure 22.3 cm just under 9 inches long. Total weight of both spoons is 103 grammes.
