This genuine pair of antique Scottish Provincial silver spoons each measure 138mm (5.25\") long x 30mm (1.25\") across the bowl and weigh a combined 46 grams. They are a classic Scottish provincial fiddle pattern with the slightly elongate handles each of which each of which has the contemporary script initials AB. They are unusually hallmarked with a date letter C maker Cameron and Dundee in separate boxes with a slanted 5 and E&co under a crown. They are all in good honest antique condition with no repairs. A fine pair of Scottish spoons from a good maker in fresh to the market condition and sold with .

For a two year period Cameron bought in silver plated spoons from Sheffield manufactured by Elkington & Sons - hence the top mark. They were not popular and Cameron went back to silver only after that period.
