Pair of vintage oval sterling silver matching Navajo ashtrays with geometric stamped designs, four applied fluted button feet, and single dish shaped applied cigarette rests. The rests could be removed if you only wanted silver trays without the smoking theme. These older Fred Harvey era artifacts bear a rare “SELIGMAN’S” hallmark on each. I believe Seligman’s is a trading post in Arizona. Each tray is also stamped “STERLING”.
Excellent quality and condition for these ca. 1940’s trays. It is hard to find a matched set like this, especially with the rare hallmarks! Reasonable starting price. One offer buys BOTH trays! Collector’s items.
