These gorgeous, over-sized hand towels come from a collection of remarkable German linens that we were lucky enough to acquire from a family who fled Germany in the 1930\'s and came to the United States with their treasures.We will be listing their linens in the months to come.This beautiful pair of hand towels is made of extraordinary, heavy linen with a textured geometric pattern, damask surface and a simple monogram of the initial \"S\" in thelowercenter panel. Each towel has a loop on the underside for hanging on a hook - we think these may haveactually been kitchen towels even though they are so extravagant. Please examine the photos to see that there are faint age marks on thefold lines of one that might come out with further laundering in hot water. They are previously used and in excellent condition, hand laundered and pressed and ready for use.
