This pattern is McCall\'s M4745. This pattern comes in two size ranges; this listing is for the larger size range, XL-XXXL. This makes a historically accurate military uniform of the type worn by soldiers and officers during the Civil War, as well as Buffalo Soldiers or other cavalry during the 19th century. This would be suitable for re-enactors or in a drama. This is not a costume quality pattern, this makes the real thing: fitted, lined coats have slits, buttons and deep pleats at back, historically accurate roll back shoulder seams, two-piece sleeves with buttons and stand collar. The trousers have a split waistband with tab and buckle at back and button fly closure. Also use this as a foundation for a smashing Steampunk look!
