PENNSYLVANIA GERMAN WROUGHT IRON DOUGH SCRAPER WITH INTERESTING HANDLE - CIRCA 1800-1850 - VERY NICE!!!Up for sale is: PENNSYLVANIA GERMAN WROUGHT IRON DOUGH SCRAPER WITH INTERESTING HANDLE - CIRCA 1800-1850. This Pennsylvania German Wrought Iron Dough Scraper (Overall: 4-7/8\" x Blade: 3-3/4\" x 2-15/16\" & Handle: 4-3/8\"), with a Very Nicely Formed Rounded and Tapered to a Rounded Point Handle and Beautifully Shaped Blade with Flared-Out Tips!!! This Dough Scraper is in Very Good Condition, though it Does Have Rusty Areas & Pitting, a (1/2\") Crack on the Blade that Looks Like it was Partially Repaired (Hammered Down), Scratches & Dings, Wear on the Blade and a Wonderful Worn Flat Area on the Bottom Edge of the Handle (This Dough Scraper Was Used A Lot To Have This Kind Of Wear!!!) as Defects... This Dough Scraper does Not Appear to have Been Cleaned and has a Nice Deep Gray Colour along with the Rusty Browns on the Handle and Blade... I Have a Small Collection of Wrought Iron Dough Scrapers and Many other Wrought Iron Kitchenware Pieces and am now Starting to Offer some of them up For Sale, there are Some Rare Handle Styles, as well as Unusual Blade Shapes, and a Signed & Decorated Scraper, so Please do Take a Look!!!
