An antique, Imperial Russian, gilded, gilt (much more gold in color than it appears in photos), 84 grade Silver & Guilloche enamel chatelaine piece.

Circumstances are causing me to sell some of my Russian silver that I acquired in Toronto, Canada in the 1970\'s. Offered here is a mini hand mirror shaped objet de vertu with several uses. It is part locket (It has a frame & glass in the lid for a photo), compact? pills? etc. It has radiating white Guilloche enamel on top & bottom & paneled handle.

It measures about 4 1/2\" (11.5 cm.) long & 1 3/8\" (3.5 cm.) wide at the widest point.

It is in excellent condition for its age with only one very minor scuff to clear coat on cover (only visible when tilted in the light) & a previous owner has scratched \"XLVI\" (46?) inside the lid. It is stamped with numerous Hallmarks. Full marks in the bottom: the Cyrillic Faberge initials, the \"84\" Kokoshnik mark facing left from Moscow, the Cyrillic initials of the Workmaster Fedor Afanassiev & a man\'s head mark. Inside the cover are the initials of the Workmaster & Faberge. The ring on the end of the handle is marked with the \"84\" mark on one side & the Faberge mark on the other.
