It\'sHUGE, a wonderfully OVERSIZED Necklace,..Large as they were originally designedto be, made with highest quality components, signed by a member of one of themost Collectable Families of all Navajo Artists, & in EXCELLENT VINTAGECONDITION. If you are a collector of FINE Native American pieces, this is oneNecklace that you may not want to miss out on! MUCH DEEPER BLUE than the Photosshow it to be,..when they are this ULTRA DEEP, SUPER INTENSE BLUE, really hardto capture! I hardly even know where to begin on this one, & honestly, it\'sgoing to be fairly difficult for me to describe just what ALL sets it apart from other Necklaces, (especially when I haveanother Necklace Listed!) Ha! For starters, the Length, you never see it, mostare about 25\" to 26\",..the GREAT thing about this, is if you DOprefer them a little shorter, you can still have it shorter, much better thanif one was too short. It lies BEAUTIFULLY down your chest, (WITHOUT evenconsidering the additional Length of the Center Naja section), is a SUPERGENEROUS 33 1/4\"! Morenci Turquoise was mined in southEasternArizona, in Greenlee County. It ranges in color from Dark to Light Blue, with avery unique & unusual matrix of irregular Iron Pyrite Matrix, (also knownas “FOOL\'S GOLD”), that looks likeSILVER when polished. The name \"Morenci\", is derived from the largeopen pit Morenci Copper mine where much of the Turquoise from it was consideredto be of the “LUNCH BOX” variety, meaning it was carried out by the workers ofthe Mine. Morenci Turquoise is very well known, as a matter of fact, it waseven one of the 1st Turquoises from the United States to be placed on themarket, & is becoming almost impossible to obtain because the Mine is nowdepleted.
