This is for a nice art deco vintage flip up pocket watchin asterling silver case. The watch is fully hallmarked inside and dates to Birmingham 1935 along with the silversmiths initials S.S.M. The outside of the case has its original crocodile skin wrap and it is fashioned as a little bag with a handle on the top. Thewatchopens by pressing the decorated little catch on the front this opensthe case and the little clock face swings roundinto position allowingit to be displayed as a clock. It has a classic face with a little second hand at the base and this is marked \'Swiss Made\'. The watch is running and isin good condition, there are no dings or dents to the silver and no damageto the watch itself either, i think at one time it would possibly have been sprung, so as you opened it it sprung out, but it works and stands perfectly as it is. Cosmetically it is good, there is a little wear to the croc skin at the edges but that\'s all and as you wind the watch it moves the hour hand intermittently as well, this doesn\'t affect the running of the watch though it winds and runs well. Closed it measures38mm (1.5\") square.
