PRE CIVIL WAR Vintage 1860s Jacob\'s Ladder Antique Quilt ~AMAZING HAND QUILTING!

This OUTSTANDING cotton Jacob\'s ladder quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted, with an early double pink fabric that dates back to the 1830-1860 era.

It measures 68\" X 86\" and is in excellent condition, with no spots or wear.

The quilting is UNBELIEVABLE, with close straight line, 1/2\" (or SMALLER) grid, and feathered designs quilted throughout at an even 11-12 stitches to the inch.

The back is white, the hand stitched binding is the same double pink fabric used in the interior, and the batting is thin. You can see cotton seed residue inside when you hold the quilt up to the light.
