A hard to find pre-WW2 unit history. A RARE and exceptional publication. Loads of pictures and narrative about this Army National Guard unit being ordered to active duty / federalized in 1940 / 1941 - just prior to WW2. Published by the Army and Navy Publishing, Atlanta, GA, 394 pages - this book is heavy. Measures about 5/8\" in thickness. Overall size is apx 9-1/2\" x 12-1/4\".

Cover and interior pages are nearly perfect. Interior pages though are beginning to separate from the binding. Someone with knowledge of binding repair should easily be able to correct this issue. A few pages are splitting from the binding due to this. Otherwise, interior pages are prefect. A truly rare and unusual piece of pre-WWII history.
