Up for your consideration is thisNEAR PRISTINE 1954 (AL) SINGER FEATHERWEIGHT 221 SEWING MACHINE w/CASE& ACCESSORIES... On a scale from 1 to 10 this machine is about 9. It is original condition as you see it with some slight needle mark ticks on striker plate and some slight surface scars that have not penetrated the surface protective coating.
The case is 98% original and in excellent condition no bald spots, tears or unsightly burs just smooth black leather with only slightembellishmentof color to interior (for ease of identification). Service catalog in is excellent condition all pages present and in good condition no excessive staining ordiscoloration.
Please also note the gold trim leafing shows zero signs of wear and is fully intact.
The machine retainsits glossy mirror like exterior.
This machine has been serviced and lubricated as per the accompanying catalog...
This machine shows little signs of use over its many years and its brushes are stillveritablynew the motor passed meggar testing and all other physical linkages have been inspected for wear and none- was found.
