Here is a very nice and possibly very rare birth and baptismal certificate printed by Severinghaus and Company in Chicago. It is not listed in the Stopp volumes, so this could be quite rare. It was done for Raymond Edward Zimmerman, son of John and Kate Zimmerman. Raymond was born 02 Jan 1889 in Perry Township in Berks County and baptized on 22 Apr 1889 by Pastor Fritsch. This family moves and shows up in the 1900 census of South Manheim in Schuylkill County which lists, John Zimmerman (born June 1864) and Kate (born Aug. 1861). Raymond is not listed and likely passed away. John’s father is noted as being born in Germany. John’s occupation is “Piercer- Tube works.” Family records claim John’s parents are Casper Zimmerman (1824-1876) and Esther (1930-1901). Casper is said to have immigrated into Baltimore in 1830. The form is 11 by 17 inches. It will be shipped flat. Please check any other fraktur listings as I will combine shipping costs.
