I\'ve collected these wonderful painted \"shaker\" boxes over the past 14 years. I\'ve had a great time displaying them and stacking them, moving them around; there are countless ways to enjoy and display.
My favorite way to display them was to stack them up on this charming late 18th century stool; American, but not Shaker. Buyer gets stool and all 11 boxes as photographed.
I put the word \"Shaker\" in quotes because the dealers advertised each of them as such. I have no way of telling if each of them is genuinely Shaker made.
To the best of my knowledge they are all authentic with old finish. They were all purchased from reputable antique dealers mostly in the 1990\'s. I collected them individually, And paid over $9,000.00 for what I have listed.
Approx hight: 52.5\" (bottom of stool to top of boxes)
Smallest box is 4.25\" across. Largest box measures 13 5/8\" across
