An attractive pair of ironstone china dinner plates, approx. 10.5\"/26.3cm diameter, underglaze brown printed and overglaze coloured, with apricot lustre edges and bearing a printed coat of arms mark with \"Indian Iron-stone\", as used by J & G Alcock, 1839-46. Both are in very good condition, just minor surface and stacking wear and some discolouration inside their footrims, worst shown.
