Pair Antique Fluted Oak Wood Greek Roman Column Salvaged Pedestals:
$55.00

This is a good-looking pair of antique fluted oak wood Greek or Roman style column salvaged pedestals.

I would estimate they date sometime between the 1890s and the 1910s.

Including the pegs, one measures 22 5/8 inches and the other measures 22 1/4 inches (57.5 cm, 56.5 cm). Without the pegs they each measure 20 inches long (50.8 cm). The diameter of the round end measures 5 inches (12.7 cm) and the width of the square ends measure 4 5/8 inches (11.7 cm).

I\'m not exactly sure where they came from, perhaps an antique sideboard buffet piece of furniture that had the mirror on it.

One of them is a little darker than the other. There is beading going around three of the four square sides on each. Each has some stains, scratches, scuff marks, light age related cracks and general wear to the finish. However, they are both sturdy. The solid inner column section can be separated from the two ends on one of them, but only on the square end on the other.

The pair weighs just under 7 lbs. 3 oz. (3.25 kg).
