This is a pair of antique or vintage hand painted brass and iron Israeli vases. One of them has its original label on the bottom.

I\'m uncertain as to how old they are, but they definitely have good age. They may have even been made before Israel became a state.

One measures 6 3/4 inches tall and the other measures 6 5/8 inches tall (17.1 cm, 16.8 cm). The tops on both measure 1 3/4 inches across and the bases measure 3 5/8 inches across (9.2 cm).

The tops of these are made of brass, though they do have a copper tint to them also. The bottom bases are made of sheet iron.

They are each hand painted with beautiful colors. I\'m not sure, but it may be enamel paint.

They each have chipping of the paint scattered around. The taller one has quite a bit of light blue tarnish on it and more wear than the other (please see photos).

The shorter one has an old label on the bottom which I believe was painted or maybe stenciled on, using numbers and Hebrew letters.

The pair weighs a little over 11 ounces (318 g).
