Each of these finely carved ca. 1925 genuine white marble busts measures 8” tall on their green colored figural pentagonal marble bases which measure 1 7/8” thick x 4 ¼” x 3 ½”. The details are most impressive viewed from any angle and the pair has singular power and grace. Each has been damaged on the front of the crest of the helmet: the pieces are present with minimal loss and need to be glued back on.
