SUCH A RARE FIND TO HAVE A PAIR OF THESE CHAIRS.
I was going to use this pair of chairs in my home but they were too big.
I had them redone and they are absolutely beautiful. The wood grain on these chairs are gorgeous.
The curvature of the arms are so sleek.
Please zoom in to see the details of the wood on the arms and legs so you know exactly what your buying.
IF you zoom in there are some areas that the wood has darker marks due to the age. I did not have them removed due to the age of the chairs . If you like, I did have them put a light coast of varnish to have a finished polished look to them. So if you want to have them worked on again them can easily be sanded down. The stain was matched to the original color. I would say the color is a medium Walnut. Can go with any other wood color in your decor.
Out of all the similar chairs listed non surpass the condition of this pair.These chairs where definitely taken care of because the cushions are in excellent shape. I was going to use them as the off white/beige side. The orange color is so popular now in decorating you can have two different looks! The top cushion is a little darker than the bottom cushion for contrast.
Keep in mind these chairs are approximately 40-50 years old there are a few light blemishes on the cushions but none that stand out they did not even show when I took a pic. They are the original cushions and fabric that\'s what is so cool about these chairs too. Foam is firm no sagging in the cushions, form is excellent.
The original wood part of the chairs had some minor scratches and wear and I did not like them not being perfect so I had them redone, that alone cost me $275. I was so pleased the way they turned out.
