Up for sale is a pair of John Jelliff Renaissance revival side chairs. They each have a beautifully carved crest with a crowned head in a cartouche at the center. The carving is exquisite, but they do need restoration. The seat on the first one needs to be resolved, as the front rail is leaning forward. Seats are 16 inches high, 20 inches wide at the front, and 22 inches deep at the center. The backs are just over 40 inches tall and 22inches at the widest. There is some loss to the carving on the left of one of the chairs as show in photo 7 and a chip the nose on the same piece. With a new finish, these blemishes will recede.
