This listing is for a fine pair of circa 1900 Royal Doulton Slaters ceramic vases. They measure 15 3/4 inches or 40cm high, and are 8 inches or 20.3 cm at their widest. These vases are a beautiful example of the fine Art Nouveau craftsmanship from the Royal Doulton pottery of that period in England. They feature a low round foot which supports the large bulbous form bodies with a tall slender neck and flared rims. They have a gold lace decoration on the bodies with blue and white glazed flowers. the necks of the vase have a deep cobalt blue glaze with a green flared rim. They are stamped on the bottom with the Royal Doulton mark along with \"DOULTON SLATERS\".They are in overall excellent condition, with the exception of a drill hole in the bottom. The superb workmanship is evident, and the piece is without chips, cracks, crazing or discoloration. Glaze was evenly fired and no paint drips or mistakes in the production are evident. Colors remain bright and vibrant, even after a century of display. Please see the many photographs as they are an important part of the description.
