These 18th Century Wood Carving hail from Thailand. They are exquisite in every way. The intricate carving, the weathered colors, the patina, and the great forms that exhibit so much movement in space. They have been on display in our house for many decades. But it is now time to part with them. One measures approximately 12 inches tall; the other slightly smaller. The antique dealer we purchased them from in San Francisco maintained they were originally part of a larger display, and most likely from an ancient temple. They are simply elegant and extremely decorative. These items are getting much more difficult to find. This a a great opportunity to own fine work at a very good price.
